Nagarjun- Father of Rasashastra

           Nagarjuna was a great man whose contributions greatly influenced the development of traditional Indian medicine. He is frequently regarded as the father of Rasashastra in Ayurveda. The primary focus of Rasashastra, the alchemical branch of Ayurveda, is on the medicinal applications of metals and minerals.
